Brabec Land

brabec-follow-meWelcome!

This lively illustration by Ken Clubb* is from one of the monthly columns I wrote for Crafts magazine for twenty years. During those years I was a recognized leader in the crafts business industry, with thousands of readers who followed me because I knew the way to success in a crafts business at home.

I still do . . . but my life has changed considerably since I first launched this website, and I am currently unable to devote time to it.

Therefore, please consider this website not a blog, per se, but simply an archive of articles and resources that may be helpful to you in your art or crafts business or personal life.

A Note About my Home-Business Books

Although my crafts and home business books are still in print, none will be updated in the future because I have withdrawn from active involvement in the crafts and home-business industries to devote full time to the writing and self-publication of new books that have nothing to do with business, but everything to do with LIFE.  I published my first memoir in April 2010 to glowing reviews, and  you can read more about it here.

Join My Home Business Network

I continue to add new content to my primary website, Barbara Brabec’s World, which includes a wealth of general home business and computer-related articles and resources,  articles  related to writing and self-publishing,  information about my book manuscript editing services, and of course my personal life and creative interests. (I’ve linked to some of them in the “Feature Articles” area at right.)

If you would like to stay in touch with me, please join my mailing list for my BRABEC BULLETIN. Published irregularly, it includes my take on a wide variety of both business and personal topics and the new lessons I continue to learn about running a business on the Web and dealing with all the things that continue to change around us.  For an idea of the kind of topics I generally discuss, read the Sampler issue of the  Brabec Bulletin here.)

“None of us knows what the next change is going to be,
what unexpected opportunity is just around the corner, waiting to change all the tenor of our  lives.” - Kathleen Norris
